With experience across sectors including energy, retail, education, and government, I bring a broad skill set across UX, UI, interaction design, service design, and user research. I’ve worked with platforms like Salesforce and ServiceNow, and I’m currently growing my skills in data visualisation, AI, ML, Python, and earning a Six Sigma Green Belt.

Capita – UX Designer (May 2021 – September 2022)
As a consultant at Capita, I played a crucial role in the Royal Navy’s Defence Learning Environment (DLE), modernising it for accessibility, flexibility, and effectiveness to better prepare cadets for the frontline and future education or career paths.
Through on-site research at multiple naval bases (BRNC Dartmouth, HMS Collingwood, CTCRM Lympstone, HMS Raleigh), I mapped user needs across recruits and personnel, created personas and information architecture, and improved course discovery, SSO, offline access, and mobile-first design.
I built prototypes with branching simulations and introduced varied learning styles (microlearning, mastery learning, project-/problem-based tasks, social learning, dual coding with more visuals, and scenarios with auditory/kinesthetic approaches), documenting patterns and recommendations to support adoption and future iteration.
- Improved the Royal Navy’s legacy e-learning platform with a focus on accessibility, flexibility, and effectiveness.

Howdens Ltd – UX Designer (November 2019 – July 2020)
As a UX/UI and graphic designer at Howden Joinery Group Plc, I designed and maintained responsive components for the e-commerce platform across desktop, tablet, and mobile, using Sketch and Figma with pixel-perfect grids (e.g., 12-column desktop, 4-column mobile).
I evolved the design system via Abstract, Anima, and Zeplin, ensuring consistency, accessibility, and usability across all digital assets.
Collaborating with marketing designers, UX researchers, and product designers, I optimised customer journeys, enhanced website effectiveness, and supported marketing campaigns to drive engagement and conversion.
BoilerJuice Ltd – UX Designer (August 2018 – March 2019)
I designed a digital system that connects external heating-oil tanks to a real-time monitoring network via smart sensors, surfacing data in users’ BoilerJuice accounts on web and mobile.
The interface simplified complex data and provided peace of mind, enhancing energy efficiency and supply planning.

InfoAware Ltd – E-learning Designer (2017 – 2018)
Developed custom e-learning modules with illustrations and interactivity using Adobe Captivate and Articulate Storyline.
Designed a digital platform tailored for e-learning and course creation.
Redesigned the website’s visual identity with bespoke iconography to enhance digital presence and educational resources. The visual language emphasised accessibility, simplicity, and adaptability across screens.
Europa Science Ltd – Web Designer (2016)
Designed and maintained accessible, standards-compliant websites aligned with W3C guidelines, while developing responsive email campaigns using HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, WordPress, and Drupal.

At United Cerebral Palsy (UCP) of Middle Tennessee, a US charity supporting individuals with disabilities, I designed marketing and branding materials that strengthened fundraising efforts.
My work supported the promotion of major events such as:
- Country music shows and live telethons.
- Branding that leveraged country music’s influence to communicate UCP’s mission—raising awareness and inspiring generosity from attendees and viewers.
